Haylee and I have known Jenna for a while now. Haylee and Jenna actually grew up in youth group together, and I later met Jenna through mutual friends from church. She has such a sweet nature about her, and I’m sure you will be able to see that from some of these images we’re sharing! Life happened, we all lived in different places, and time passed quickly! Before meeting up for this family session, the last time I had seen Jenna was on her wedding day, when I met Alex for the first time…FOUR years ago! Social media is really great for keeping up with friends and family for this reason! When I met their sweet little girl the day of this session, I felt like I already knew her because of Facebook! So much has happened in the past four years, but I was so thankful to be able to catch up, even for just an hour!

It was an extremely windy day, and knowing we were going to photograph right off of the bay had me worried some! As soon as I pulled up, my hair was all sorts of crazy. Aside from the wind, I’d have to say that this session is one of my favorites! The lighting was so soft and beautiful, and then the family, just look at them. It was even more special because they had come in town to attend a wedding, which happened to be their anniversary weekend. So of course, we had to get some shots of mom and dad together!
