There are many reasons photography is so special to us, but one of them is the way it connects us with people. Lily happens to vacation in Seaside every year since she was a child. Blake recently proposed, asking Lily to be his wife (!!!!!). Both Haylee and Mandi have a mutual friend who happens to be a sorority sister of Lily’s in Georgia. Crazy, right?! Lily asked our mutual friend if she knew any photographers in the area to do an engagement session. After sending messages back and forth with each other, we had a plan! We were going to have a beautiful stroll through Seaside. But then: RAIN. IN. THE. FORECAST. NO! But since the beach was vacation for them, they wanted to make sure that they at least got some pictures taken by the water. Although the rain held out, it was foggy as EVER. They made that gloomy sky look GOOD. I mean, Lily couldn’t be prettier. Blake couldn’t be more smitten for his soon-to-be-bride. It is evident that you’re both over the moon for each other.

As soon as our session was over, it down-poured! We made good timing. 🙂
