This maternity session was SO PERFECT. We were looking forward to this day for so long it seemed! When Lauren contacted us about photographing their maternity, fresh48, and in-home lifestyle newborn session, we were so excited! Brad is a friend of mine from high school, so it was neat to catch up on how life has changed in the past 9 years! Their life is in full-force right now too! They had just moved the previous week from Alabama to Florida, Brad is starting a new job, Lauren is pregnant with their first little darling! I’m out of breath just typing that! So, clearly they have a lot going on. 🙂 Brad looks at Lauren with the sweetest look in his eyes. Lauren has a sense of humor that can make a room full of people burst into laughter. There were a few times we had to take a break from shooting because we almost peed our pants!

Y’all. This was one of those sessions that the entire time we were just in disbelief. The light was SO. IN.CRED.IBLE. It was so dark and rainy the whole day (this always tends to happen to us!). We were praying (not kidding!) throughout the day for the clouds to move so this sweet couple would be able to have their maternity photos taken. It’s one thing when you are local and can reschedule, but it’s another when you are traveling for the photos! So as we were driving over the bridge to this session, we watched the clouds move and the sun was shining so bright. It’s funny even thinking about it! Even such little prayers that are answered show the beauty of God.

We are sure that you will make such wonderful parents. Between the two of you, your baby girl is going to have the best golden locks, most beautiful eyes, contagious laugh, incredible humor, and a heart of gold.
