Wade + Brandi say ‘I do!’

From Arkansas to Florida, their love grew deeper. Wade took a job last fall at Village Baptist Church in Destin, FL as the Student Pastor. While adjusting to a new place and new job, he was also planning out how to ask the love of his life to marry him. Those are all pretty simple things to take on, right? 🙂 

Well, let’s back up 10 years ago. Wade and Brandi met on a blind double date (drum roll please!….) with other people! As we listened to their story, we couldn’t help but smile. How fun is that to look back on?! They each had their own date, but suddenly found each other (well, Wade for Brandi at least! ;)) much more interesting. You’ll see as you scroll down that their wedding cake topper says, ‘It was always you.” Their story is full of sweet details that really express God’s grace and love for them. If you don’t know their story…ask them! Really. Your jaw will drop with the way everything played out for them to be together! They are two very special people and we were honored to have not only met them, but witness their union on March 25th! 

It’s funny because when we had our initial consultation, Brandi said, “Just so you know…this is not going to be a blog-worthy wedding.” We knew what they meant – it was a two month engagement (!!!!) and they were most concerned about honoring God above all, so details of ‘magazine-worthy’ weddings wouldn’t be a concern to them. It’s funny how people see things differently, you know? Their wedding so beautiful still! Not sure if you caught that…two. months. of. wedding. planning….FROM ARKANSAS! Long distance planning is difficult, but they nailed it perfectly! 

Congratulations, you two! Marriage is THE best.
