Colquitt Family | Newborn Lifestyle Session

This session blessed us in so many ways. When Nikki contacted us about photographing the birth of her precious boy, she knew she also wanted a Fresh48 and lifestyle session as well. We were on the edge of our seats as her due date quickly approached, but then especially when she let us know she was in labor 2 weeks early! We met in person for the first time while she was in labor at Sacred Heart Hospital. Her husband, Britton Colquitt, is a punter for the Cleveland Browns. They come down a few times a year during the off-season of football to enjoy a slower-paced life as a family. It was so fun getting to know them and hear more of their story while awaiting Rhode’s arrival. They are hilarious and so genuine. Just being around them blessed us, and then hearing their heart for the Lord blessed us even more. They happened to be down here during the last few months of pregnancy, and we are so thankful they found us! One of Nikki’s friends from high school is an extremely talented photographer based in Tennessee and coincidentally we follow each other on Instagram! We are so thankful for your recommendation, Katie!

We absolutely loved being a part of such a milestone in their lives! Nikki made birth look effortless. As our eyes filled with tears, Nikki and Britton’s hearts swelled welcoming Rhodes at 9:30PM making him their precious #4! Words cannot accurately describe the emotions we felt behind the camera. Birth is so precious, and something we are so grateful to be able to document. When Rhodes was one week old, we came to their beautiful home to photograph their family. As you scroll through the images, you’ll see the most precious moments between Rhodes and his siblings. They are so in love! He is their “little buddy.” 🙂
