The Crews

Clay and Sydney have known each other for most of their lives. According to Sydney, Clay has always been the down-to-earth guy who can make her smile in a second because of his witty humor. And according to Clay, there has always been something about her that left him waiting…waiting to see if she’d show up to the ball games…waiting to see if she’d be anywhere around where he was. He was always hoping she’d be around but didn’t know why. After many of Clay’s friends saw the obvious love blooming, there was no turning back for them!

During their engagement session at the beginning of the year, we laughed the entire time! Clay really can make Sydney laugh over the smallest thing, and when she laughs, his real smile comes out. And that’s when we stand behind the camera and smile ear to ear. There was a specific moment where we put the two of them together and asked Clay to list 3 reasons why he is proud of Sydney and we just stood back and watched them interact. It was really sweet! It was one of those moments where we were getting pressed for time because of the very little light (it was SO foggy that day!!), but we didn’t want to interrupt. Clay and Sydney, we love you guys!

Sydney says that Clay never officially asked her to be his girlfriend, so she was thrilled to get married and finally have an anniversary to celebrate! So Cheers to new beginnings and a life of joy pursuing one another daily!
