“Caroline and I have known each other since freshman year of high school. During the middle of our sophomore year, I transferred to Bellaire HS, so I did not get to see Caroline much except for the occasional baseball game when she came to watch our schools play. In the spring of 2016 we reconnected through some mutual friends. I had just transferred to Texas A&M and asked if Caroline would show me around campus. We spent the whole day laughing and I quickly remembered all of the things I love about her. Over the next couple weeks, we stayed in touch until I asked her to go to dinner and see Star Wars: The Force Awakens with me.
The next three years were some of the most memorable and exciting times of our lives. From Aggie football games, to Chi Omega date parties, to crazy adventures with friends every weekend, we experienced so much of love, growth, and laughter. On March 8th, 2019 I planned to propose on Mt. Bonnell in Austin, TX. I told her we were going out to a fancy dinner and drove her to the cliff where I asked her to marry me.
The rest is history.”
Does your mouth hurt from smiling yet? Whew! These two are deeply in love and it shows in the way Josh looks at his bride. Caroline adores her groom. Their wedding day fell the weekend of Mardi Gras, and I’m sure you can just imagine their reception! Masks, beads, glow sticks, oh my! As the music got louder, a dance competition broke out. We stood behind our cameras in the middle of the dance floor laughing for hours!
We hope married life has exceeded your expectations, even with the limitations Covid-19 has brought! Congratulations to the new Mrs. and Mr. Satriano!
XOXO,
Mandi and Haylee
