When Addi and Connor came down for vacation last winter, they hired us for their engagement photos. (You can find those here!) We couldn’t help but smile the whole time. Addi has a sweet and gentle spirit about her, and and Connor is head-over-heels for her!
They ended up hiring us for their summer Tennessee wedding at a brand new venue. They had all of their details squared away. But then… Covid19 happened and their venue closed. It seemed as though everything they had been planning was out the window however, Addi was so calm and content. It’s something I value deeply about her. This wasn’t going to ruin their marriage. Family, (gorgeous) wedding dress, ring, and soon-to-be hubby…what else did she need?
They quickly changed plans. They stuck to a summer wedding, but this time in Rosemary Beach, right where we went for their engagement photos! I can’t help but smile while typing this!
Wedding day was here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The intimate setting on the rooftop of The Pearl was breathtaking. We we all praying for the rain to hold off because the forecast was not the best. It was just another thing to potentially steal the joy of their day. GUESS WHAT?! The very second Addi and Connor were pronounced husband and wife, the rain began to fall! Everyone laughed because of such wild timing. They were married with no more concerns. I think it rained for a total of 3 whole minutes, so we went straight into family photos and portraits. It was so sweet to spend that time with them feeling so relieved everything came together so perfectly! Most of their plans were been different than originally planned for, but by the end of the night, Addi came over to tell us that she actually had hoped for a small, intimate family wedding! That made us smile ear-to-ear!
XOXO,
Mandi and Haylee
